Fluxes in Human Cells

To date there are few studies in which MFA has been applied to mammalian cells. We have overcome several difficulties to establish the method and are currently testing inhibitors of metabolism as a proof of concept in various human cell lines (e.g. liver, kidney). We have several years of experience with trimming MFA for high throughput, and thus we want to establish the technology as a screening system to test the effect of active compounds on cellular metabolism.
